View Full Version : Boot Failute/System Halted

Chip: Pentium 4(400)1.7
Motherboard: intel desktop board d845wn
Ram: 256
Graphics: GeForce4 Ti 4600
Tried to upgrade my pc with all those components, but whenever i start the pc it comes up with BOOT FAILURE/SYSTEM HALTED. Everything is installed , Cd rom, hard drive, floppy, it all works. Anyone have any idea why this is the case.

You are most likely going to have to reformat the hard drive and reinstall your operating system for your system to run properly.

that wouldnt work. i dont have a operating system installed in the first place. Its a new pc which am trying to build myself with all those components i stated above, but as i said it comes up with the error after i have installed averything.BOOT FAILURE/SYSTEM HALTED.
so its something to do with the motherboard as opposed to the hard drive or operating system
