Pagefile location

I have 1 harddrive which has 3 partitions.

Partition 1 is my Operating System (Win2000 SP4)
Partiton 2 is for my Junk!
Partition 3 (2.5Gb) is specifically created for my Pagefile.

I have 1Gb Memory installed, so I thought if I created a fixed pagefile to the size of 1.5Gb & had it on it's own partition then it would be better than having it on the same partition as the operating system.

Does doing this have any benefits or not?

There is an advantage to having the Page File on a seperate partition. Depending on the size of the hard drive.
