Windows Media Player - Error Message
Hi,
I use Windows 98 first edition. I have version 7.01 of the Windows Media Player "WMP". When I try to listen to a song on the walmart.com website, I get a WMP error that says "Invalid or corrupt data" the WMP Error code for this is "00D002F". Does anyone know how to fix this probelm ? Thanks, melillo3 |

Does it work in another player?
Are you sure it's not the site that has faulty files?

Hi Degsy,
The WMP is selected and set as my Default media player, so I don't know if any other player works since it boots up WMP automatically. I don't know how to re-set WMP so that it is not my default media player. On faulty files: If Walmart had faulty files I would think the webmaster would have corrected the problem by now, considering the volume of business they do. Having checked the web, some think it may be the Codec(file types), but WMP file info shows "unknown" for file details. Al |
