Hi Everyone,

I currently use a Win98SE Dual desktop PC with an AGP GForce2 and a PCI SiS 6326 card.

I would prefer to be running Windows2000 (server edition), but when I tried to install it I couldn't get my SiS 6326 card to display anything, even when using the correct W2K drivers. Or is it a problem with the SiS drivers (or the GForce drivers?)

Does windows2000 support multiple desktops on different cards?

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew Crowe,

Have you tried...?

Device Manager
System devices
right-click on the PCI-PCI bridge
Properties
Driver(tab)
Update Driver(button)
go through the update driver wizard and on the
Locate Driver Files select
Specify a location
enter the location of your new drivers.

Oh yeah.
Win2K is more finicky with cards. Some it doesn't like. SiS shouldn't
be a problem. With Win2K if your having probs with an AGP then
you want to have VGA in before you plug in the AGP. Usually
this will overcome any AGP probs.
Try alternate single mountings (one card at-a-time).
