Here is one I though was easy but has proved a real challange.

I have lost the ability to create folders in his outlook express address book. If you go into the address book of Outlook Express 6, click file, there should and normally is a item called "new folder". On my PC there is no "new folder". If I try creating a folder using the shortcut ctrl+R I get an error.

I have then proceeded to try create a new outlook identity, but the new identity had the same poblem.

The operating system is WinXP. If create a new user profile in XP, then all settings are OK andyou are able to create a new folder in the Express address book.

Does any know how I can retrieve this ability to create new folders
in the address book with out recreating the my XP user profile. My
other option is to reset outlook express default settings or to
restore all defaults... is there a way to do this?

Hi tibof
Welcome to the boards!
If I try creating a folder using the shortcut ctrl+R I get an error.

What would that error be?

If you right click in the area where the addresses are listed, and click on "new" is the option for a new folder there? I have three choices. New Contact, New Group and New Folder.
