Hello all, my 1st post here hope it turns out cool.

Anyway my problem is that whenever I start IE it takes a couple of minutes for my homepage to display. I`m using a cable modem, attached to my PC by an ethernet card(up2date drivers) and running Win2k Pro(SP 2 installed). Once my homepage is displayed there are no problems surfing around, its just the initial delay getting started.

Has anyone got any ideas cos its staring to get annoying now :(

Thanx for your time

rich, I would personally set your home page to about:blank. IE loads alot quicker.

Hi rich, welcome to Cyber Tech Help.

You might have spyware attached.

Get Ad-Aware (http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-10106-108-63806.html?bt.37419.10014..dl-63806) and scan for spyware. Trust it and delete everything (check boxes) it shows you then reboot.

Edited for code error
