I am running windows 2000 server as an in-house development web server. I have 2 NIC Cards installed. One card is set up to use DHCP from a netgear firewall router and the other card has about 8 static IPs on it. The static IPs are used for IP and name based hosting (xxx.domain.com and domain2.com)via apache web server. I set up for the IPs to point from register.com to my web server. The DHCP card is for the office to connect to the server directly to work and the static IPs are for the outside world to view their devlopment site.
The DHCP card has a cat 5 into the firewall and the static card is going right into a switch into the internet.
Problem: From inside the office we can view all the web sites. However, anyone outisde the office cannot see the web site. I guess there is a routing issues witht he NIC cards? I have tried to specify port 80 for the static NIC card, but this had no effect.
Can anyone help or have come across this to shed some light?
Thank you very very much!!
