Losing Outlook express setting(OE 6.0)

Once in a while the connection setting for the ISP revert back to old incorrect settings. In order to connect you must reset the settings. I've tried deleting all setting, run the wizard and make all settings anew. That will work for a day or two, then settings are lost again. Any ideas what would cause this? Thanks.
