Any advice - DHCP Server RH9- PSE

Hi Guy's

I am trying to setup a RH 9 box as a Internet gateway, DHCP Server (and mail server/filter/AV)..

Prob is getting The DHCP service to start.. seem to be an error in my dhcpd.conf
I went simple in the structure..

subnet 192.168.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
range 192.168.0.0 192.168.0.200;}

also experimented with lease times ..

but it seems to be a problem with the structure of the conf file itself..

if I add the above lines in at any point I get an error of one sort or another..

If I just create my own file as per examples I have found.. I get a very definite error that the file dosent comform with the structure for this version..

isc.org are no help.. typical of linux and poor documentation to boot.. the version that I am currently using of dhcp is V3.0pl1.. tried later but same errors.. gone back to the rh9 default install with distribution version of dhcp..

So any help here or advice..

Please?

Cheers

Problem solved..

Googled the problem:
Read ALL the documentation I could get my hands on..
Tried the advice from several Linux experts..
Purchased a Copy of Win 2k3 Server, locked it down, patched it...

Works a treat.. sorry Linux fans.. But I wanted to get this up and running this month not over the next year.. and Am I complaining about this site? No!! I posted here out of desperation after I couldn't get real help from the Linux forums (advice like "XXXX linux rox" is not what I was after)..

Not that I have given up on my quest either.. and when I do get a real answer I will Post back..

Cheers

and the answer came as an email.. my problem was in the sytax of the config script.. the script i am now using in my spare machine is working as I expect.. eth0 is the dhcp server, and eth 1 is configured by dhcp (by another device ..a ADSL router)..
