This is probably a no-brainer for y'all but it seems to me that the cursor has to be right in the CENTER of a box to click it, otherwise it won't work. Is there a way to change this to make it not so precise?

What sorts of boxes are you meaning? Buttons or checkboxes?
Are you running OSX or an earlier version?

Sorry I wasn't clearer... the close box, for instance... and any menu items that you click on you have to be right in the center of it to work. (OS-X or 9 doesn't seem to matter).

The buttons in X ( x, -, + ) are clear until your cursor approaches them lightman.....as soon as the signs above show in the buttons, you can click and perform the action. You don't have to be right in the center......mine works from outside the button itself, but close to it.
