HD repair and reinstalling

Well guest what i got the computer to boot with the org. performa cd and by holding down the command,shift,option and delete keys. The disk doc also said it repaired the HD. Sooo should I reinstall all the oringal software from the org. performa CD or just go to the 7.6 CD and install from there? Also will conflict catcher help with this?

I personally don't like Conflict doubler ... I mean Conflict Catcher.

If I were you I would back up all important data and initialize the hard drive then install 7.6. See your other post for more info on this.
