 Yes, Buzz ,I am confused. Wacky B sent me here. I am having trouble getting Yahoo's latest messenger service. I can't view webcams. I have an iMac os9.0. Actually, I have trouble attaching files on e-mail and having them be read by those PC folks. It is probably me. Can you help me? Where are my smilies?

Are you using the online Web based Yahoo messenger or the downloadable one?

The email problem will probably be a compression problem, I know that if I send multiple files via AOL they get stuffed (as in compressed with stuffit) which is almost useless on a PC unless the recipient can be bothered downloading the Windows version of Stuffit Expander.

I believe the web based messenger is just on thier pages. You have to have a page open to use themessenger... correct me if I'm wrong here Steven.

As for the files. . . compression is a good culprit it could also be the file extensions. Since the Mac doesn't use them they aren't on every file but the PC must have the extension. So if you're sending jog images as attachments you'll need to ad the .jpg extension to the file first (You can just type it in the name). For gif use .gif for Word files it's .doc
