Stupid Question!!

In Netscape, when the startup screen appears, across the top you have the back, forward, reload, etc buttons.......with me so far?? Well what is the one that says 'images' used for......mine is greyed out all the time?? Not a stupid question at all.

You can turn off images (so pages load quicker) if you want. Edit > Preferences > Advanced.

If the images are turned off and you want them to load for just one page you would click the Images button. The reason yours is always grayed out is because you have images turned on so they automatically load with every page.

Well Bill that's not an easy one. You actually have to "hack" Netscape with something like ResEsit to get rid of the shop button. It's generally not worth the trouble. I do wish the folks at AOL (yes they make Netscape) would let you kill it easy though.
