Well, I decided to start a server for a game. Well I reformatted my hard-drive, I had the 3 cd's for linux. I tried the first one it says something like "cannot boot from disk" or something like that,I then try the second disk like it says on their web-site.(btw its Mandrake) so I check the CD-ROM drive I change out the drives it still doesnt work. So now im stumped. Please help me out I have a LAN party coming up and I was going to bring my server.... Thanks

Are you sure the cds are fully bootable and well written? Try to download a mdsum, to verify whether the cds are good or not.

Just what I was getting at! If the CD's do not work with anouther PC then they are lovely coasters. ( Or for the redneck people like myself, they make okay clay pigons) But if they work just fine, then we have to go anouther route.
