Netscape Communicator 4.77 unerase??

I've accidently deleted my mailbox and address book. I have Norton Unerase, but i can't find anything like address.html. Does anyone know what to look for. I found some mailbox folders, but not the inbox. I especially need my address book. Can anyone help?

don't know anything about netscape (or mac) but try looking for a ".WAB" extention (windows address book) and possibly a ".DBX" extention for inbox.

Bruce, as best as I can see, you need to find something called pab.na2. The inbox I'm not so sure of! Good luck!

The majority of Netscape Mail's data is stored in the Documents folder - in a subfolder called Mozilla, which is the sort of codename for Netscape. The other place it may be ( I think it depends on the OS version) is in the Preferences folder inside the System Folder, again probably in a Mozilla folder.

The inbox is in a file inbox.msf the address book seems to be in abook.mab - I have a few versions of Netscape installed, the names may be different in 4.77

System folder > preference folder > Netscape user.
