Thanks for all the advice, Funseekers.
I bought a 533mhz, G4 tower with a 40gig hd and the 15" flat screen monitor. It had been put away on pawn for the last 6 months and had hardly been used. I think I got a good deal for $1400. My friend works at the pawnshop and he checked it out for me. I bought OS-X and Appleworks for it. So far I love it. I have a question... it has a 128m stick of RAM, can I add a 512 stick or do I have to match the existing one?

Actually you got a very good deal. The average price for the tower and the monitor would be around $1800. Good job!

You can add any single RAM sticks you want as long as they are PC100 or PC133 sticks. They do not have to be matched pairs.
