Last night I went and dumped my netscape pref because I've had a few crashes which this puppy never does and all's well now.It turned out I believe the culprit was some web sites that I went to in the last few days where loading bad if at all "I think". Any ways I always keep a backup "of many things".The net prefs backup "which I forgot" had all my applications set different from the way I've got them now.Fun city last night to have to change them the way I like em.

Now I've got one small problem.
When I drag or save a jpg to my HD,I've had it in the past save as a jpg. Now "not all the time mind ya" it saves as simple text. Most of the time it does save as jpg. I rebuilt the DT with TT 121 and so far it hasn't happened sense.I've cross checked with my other 'puter to see the difference between the two apps also.

Do you have any other ideas or clues that could help if this pops up again?

side-bar..did ya see my post with you and Gary S that I posted yesterday? check it out..

Not sure Bill. Happens to me too once in a blue moon. I always chaked it up to bad downloads not NS prefs. Chances are if you find an image that downloads that way and download it again, it'll do the same thing. Best way around it I know of is to use the contextual menu and choose "Save this Image as..." then choose "Source" that seems to not corrupt the download.

Yup saw the test...... Did I pass?

I thought about the "source" thing also, but I hope it doesn't happen again though. Its so easy to save as jpg then reduce the pic down with pictureviewer, etc not counting being fast.

Not you passing but myself passing. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif That was my second shot at PS sort of.Kinda like my card bit, but the "which ya call it on the left" brushes dropper.etc all of a sudden stopped working.?. so I finished it off with appleworks.

Oh well sorry.. don't use the picture view or jpg viewer.. actually I don't do a lot of image downloading, so the stuff I do download I manipulate with Photoshop.

Damn fine job there... I thought you took it straight off the Bears site. I guess you passed the test!
