my com was working perfectly, until i went to update my audio device at microsoft update. An error happened, saying that it lacks a file, but i cannot find it anywhere, including the win98 installer cd. I went to look for help and found out tat other pple also had the same problem, and they introduced me to download another driver for this device. iT worked for them, but my com still hangs when an application that requires sound runs, it is rather irritating. Now. i can only use my computer when i disable the audio device. When running dxdiag, it cannot detect the directx files. Can anybody help me?
