Has anyone ever experienced noise when you move mouse arrow across the screen. It is like a static or buzz as move and gets louder when I go across an open folder or program on screen. I have updated my Sound Blaster driver, but still doing. Don't notice at low volumes but when building midi files with volume very aggrivating. Any ideas out there? Thanks for help...WEL

Mine does that but only when crashing...I believe that the buzzing speaker is your system speaker (the one inside ur computer case). Have you tried disabling it?

enat66 - I have a 5 speaker surround sound system on my computer, it is coming from these speakers. The sound just started after recovering from crash. Everything is working fine now, just the annoying sound at 50%+ volume levels. Thanks for your input. - WEL

try a different mouse and see if it continues. Also make sure the mouse is plugged securely.

I have had the same problem twice. I eventually purchased a new motherboard and the problem was gone. This time I have upgraded from Win 98SE to WinXP and it is back. I figure it is a conflict between comms but of course XP is such a pain in the ass to get to anything I cant alter it. My modem is comm3 and the mouse is comm1. Bound to be something in that.
Can anyone help with a solution to the noise or the comm?
