Hi...thanks in advance for your patience. I have a feeling I'm going to need it. I have several problems with my computer, but I'm going to attempt to solve them one at a time. I'll begin with what I believe to be the most crippling.

I get an error message that reads, "There was a problem loading the file specified when running the accessibility wizard." This message appears when I try to install programs that I have downloaded. For example, all of my media players are outdated, so I downloaded updated versions, but when I click on the new program on my desktop to install them, the error appears.

These are the things I have done to (unsuccessfully) remedy the situation: From the control panel, I have clicked on "Add/Remove Programs", and then clicked on the "windows setup" tab. I unchecked "Accessibility". When I attempt to install afterward, I get an error message that reads, "Windows cannot find ACCWIZ.EXE" In separate attempt, I highlighted the program on my desktop, and then held down the shift button while right clicking my mouse. This brings up a menu that included "Open with..." When I click on this, it brings up all kinds of choices, and I'm clueless about which to choose...or even if I should choose.

HELP!!!! Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide. :)

Hi there, yes I have the same problem and same message came up when I downloaded a driver for my modem. So I went to the tech support area and they suggested "Powerarchiver" I went to www.powerarchiver.com (http://www.powerarchiver.com) and downloaded it. It provides support for most compressed and encoded files. With me it was a problems with the file not opening. So after I got the files to open. Don't know if this will help but I thought I would let you know. Hope you get it figured out :michaelan Jenna01
