ok my wife and I play video games, like ragnarok, roller coaster tycoon 2, etc. I recently got her a new motherboard from elitegroup (L7VMM3) with a pro3200A+ cpu chip and it has an on board video card, I have installed all the updated patches i could find. I have even tried useing a geforce agp mx400 card. everytime she plays a game it will freeze and cause her to reset her system. I am truly baffled by this. nothing will keep the games from freezeing. I have 512 mg DDR ram and a 40gig HD. running windows 2k. I have also installed all the windows patches. it doesn't matter what game she plays it always freezes. please help as this problem is getting frustrating. oh the onboard card is an S3 pro savage DDR
I appreciate your time as well as your help

Hi harushu, welcome to CTH community.
Did you disable the on-board video card, before you tried using the geforce card? Also do you have the updated drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_56.72) for that card?
Also, make sure you have the newest drivers for your motherboard's chipset.
Another thing to check is what programs are running in the background when your playing these games, you may have to disable any you don't need running.
Are you running the latest direct x (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx) ?

ok first of all thanx for you advice. I have been trying multiple things as well as being busy so i haven't had alot of time to post back yet. I have all updated drivers. i am haveing to use the onboard graphic card becuase it won't recognize anything I put into the agp slot. the on board card is a s3 graphics prosavage ddr. and yes I have updated those drivers as well. here are my computer temp. results.
Vcore 1.657v
Vcc 2.5v 2.528v
Vcc 3.3v 3.344v
Vcc 5v 5.214v
the Vcc 5v is running signifantly higher then what it should be and as i understand it the Vcc 5v is what is conected to my agp and pci slots right? just curious if this is my problem and what is causeing it. also what i can do to fix it. I appreciate the help :)
