MSSBLST.VXD Problems

I have the Sound Blaster Live! Value card and am having troubles with a file called MSSBLST.VXD. Every time I start up it gives me a notice that says something to the effect of:
"Sound Blaster: The MSSBLST.VXD file is not present or failed to load. Check the hardware configuation and restart PC"
We tried reinstalling the sound card drivers, checking the system.ini, win.ini, and autoexec.bat files and we even reinstalled windows (98 SE).
I have an old hard drive that had the exact same card at one point. I'm gonna search for the file on that hard drive and see where it's supposed to go on my new hard drive.
Have any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Welcome to CTH

You can get the file HERE

However,

Try completely uninstalling the drivers and SB Live Software.

When windows boots up and finds the card and trys to install the sound card, manually point it to the SB drivers directory (as opposed to using SB's setup.exe to setup the drivers)
