help please

when i start up my old computer with windows 95 i get this message before windows could load

"A device file that is specified in the SYSTEM.INI file is damaged. It may be needed to run Windows.

You may need to ruun the Windows Setup program again.
If the file is included in another software package, you may need to reinstall the software that uses the file.
C:\WINDOWS\system\vmm32\NTKERN.VXD
Press a key to continue."

does anyone think they could help me? thanks in advance.

In the link you gave me to look at it said "reinstall the program or component, then run the uninstall tool if one is available. If no uninstall tool is available for the program or component, contact the manufacturer to obtain instructions on uninstalling." but i have no idea what program or component that it could be because this message has been showing up for like a year(?) but the computer still runs ok so i just didn't do anything about it

NTKERN.VXD problem
