I am just your average GED person out there with no education( thanx to very lil adult support and stupidity on my part). I have been working on computers for 7 yrs. I can't seem to get a real job doing it because the lack of education. I have a decent customer base and loyal. Now I have a microsoft seminar to attend and cannot get the software package at the end because I cannot show that I would use it everyday ( which I would because I usually have somebody's computer). Does anyone know where to start to get a better job that will help me get an education formal or non-formal?

That depends where u are living at...... some countries look only for experience and others like Canada etc prefer degrees. another thing is that u can apply for online universites if u have good monthly income...
Dont get dipressed or something, but u can achieve if u wish. now the first step is to look if u can study again in slow motion . many universities offer study progrmes for those who are already working.
and again this will depend where u are living at. i am a person who is intrested in guiding those like you, dont hesitate to write me.

best of luck
waiting to hear

Instead of a better job to get an education, start with getting your A+ certification (maybe through a local college). After, go for MCP certificate.

Knowing it is one thing, proving it to your employer ($$) is another!

Employers like to see paper when appling for a computer related job. It is difficult to prove knowledge when you do not have any type of certificate or degree and employers will not hire anyone questionable if at all possible. If you want to be taken seriously, you need to get that certification or a degree.
