profile disabled?, please help

Im working on my bosses machiene. it was messed up to the point that it was stuck in a conctant reboot. i managed to fix that by an emergency recovery process. the profile that was used before the problem was the only one with the proper cookies and stuff to get into certain dealer websites that are massively important to the company. i need to get back to this profile, but it doesnt recgonize it was a user in the system screen, but its in the documents and settings folder. it still has the stuff that i need in the folder, but i cant log on to the profile. can anyone help?

You could try it the old fashioned way.

Backup that profile folder.

Create a new account.
Copy the relevant files from the backed up folder to the new account folders.

i tried that but it wont work because the programs warent allowed to work unless its that name and certain cookies are there. i need that profile back...

Are you not able to log into the site without the cookies? Normally cookies just store login info. They can be deleted but will return the next time you logged in

Anyway, what operating system are you using? Also you can try this (http://www.handyrecovery.com/) and see if you can find your files.
