emm386: unrecoverable priviledges operation error#01 - press ENTER to reboot

my cpu is 333mhz, 64mb RAM - pentium 2...
i was trying to put in an old 8 gig hd so i'd have more space.. i was messing around in bios.. and ended up restoring the defaults
now when i boot i get an emm386 error..
i tried turning off my caches, but that didnt help
pressing enter doesnt reboot.. and i can't get into anything other than bios

what do i do? :(

Are there any files on the drive?
It may be caused by an incorrect value in the Config.sys file.

If the file is just as a spare then use a Win98 startup floppy to boot into DOS and fomart the drive.
