Hello everybody!

Before I formatted my PC, my download speeds were 40kb/s on average, but the weird thing was that I could have multiple downloads at 40kb/s usually, after I formatted, the downloads were alot faster, reaching my limit, 220kb/s. But today the downloads suddenly decreased again. I ran an anti virus scan and an anti ad-ware scan, but the problems are still the same. What can I do?

Thanks!

It might have just be coincidence that the speed increased after the format. Could have been external factors unrelated. Check this (http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks) out for tweaks.

Thanks for the link.

I'm pretty sure it isn't a coincidence though, the same people I download from with 10mbit connections now don't pass the 50kb/s mark while I used to download from them with 220kb/s. Which is really really odd.

It is odd. you may want to check with your isp and make sure they are not having problems.

Checked it, and they said nothing was wrong, I'm 99% sure its my computer, probably software related, as it did fine after a system format, at least for a few days...
