Not enough color....
I'll give a little back story before posting my problem, to bring everyone up to par... The hard drive on my old computer just quit working all of a sudden, and with me not being much of a computer jock I couldn't really tell you why... But I do know a little bit, and I installed a brand new hard drive, and put Windows 98 on it... But to my disappointment, whenever I installed Windows 98, my color display was limited to only two choices: 2 colors and 16... Where the heck is 256? I am using the exact same computer and such as before, the only that has changed is the hard drive... So if I could get some help as to what to do, it would be greatly appreciated...
Oh yeah, I've tried to do the upgrade thing... Where I go into display properties, advanced and adapter... |

You need to install the video adapter drivers, so to do that you'll need to know the video adpater make and model if it's separate from the motherboard, the motherboard make and model if it's built in, or the make and model of the computer if it's a brand name. Post whatever info you have.
