Hi Gabriele,
Open the registry editor (Start>Run key in regedit then click on OK or hit ENTER). Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Uninstall
When you expand the Uninstall key, look for an entry for Paltalk. Right-click the Paltalk entry, then select Delete. Click on Yes in the "Are you sure?" dialogue box.
Close the registry editor.

Hi,
If the Program folder has been deleted then it's just a rogue entry.
There are several methods to remove it including Registry edits, tweaking programs and registry cleaners.
I would recommend Ace Utilities.
First use the Uninstall manager to delete the Entry.
Then use the Registry Cleaner to clean your registry of leftover entries.

 Hi GretaP & degsy, thank you so much for the fast response to my problem...
GretaP, I did what you said and it worked ....I am a happy camper again  thank you again....
degsy, I will get me that program you talked about it ..I was only afraid to do that first because I had at one time " Registry First Aid "and it had cost me a lot of problems, so I'm a little scared with downloading something new...
I will give it a try and hope it does better than FirstAid did...Thank you for the Link....I really do appreciate all the help the two of you had given me...
Thank you.......

I'm impressed with your knowledge and fast, courteous service. I hope you can help me with this paltalk problem. Mine is exactly as the above user's problem with trying to install/uninstall Paltalk, after trying to upgrade to their newest version. I'm a paying customer of theirs, and now their app won't even run on my pc! After receiving the same error message upon installation (#1, line2), I finally found you guys here--I read your response to her post above, and did what you reccommended. It completes the installation now, and where it used to generate the (#1, line 2) error message before, it now throws up a DIFFERENT error message (from windows this time) before even running the application: "Paltalk7 has caused an error in PALTALK7.EXE Paltalk will now close."
So, now the program has installed, but it can't run!
I tried the acelogix program you suggested. Maybe I don't know all the necessary features to use on it for correcting my problem, here, but when I did a scan of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ENTRY and found the entries that plainly said Paltalk, pnetaware, or palnetaware, I deleted them individually--but to no avail. I still get the windows error message about the paltalk.exe file.
Can you please help me?
Thanks,
Spinoza
