Hi,
My friend has Windows 95 on his computer. He let a MAC Lover work on his computer. He used to have the properties settings for his display at High Color 16 bit. And the Screen Area option was mid-way between less and more. Now the screen area option is at less and he cannot access High Color 16 bit. The MAC guy said he needed another graphics card. Whenever he tries to change the above options back to what they were, and reboots, it goes back to he low resolution. We don't understand why the Mac guy says it is the graphics card when that was not a problem before. Now his icons and font are huge, but he cannot change any settings.

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Can anyone help. I have XP and am not sure where to go in 95.
Thanks,
Diana

Download a new driver and associated software from the video card manufacturer's support site - it must be for W95. Next look in the Add/Remove Programs Utility to see if there's a listing for the video card driver & software - if yes, uninstall it and then restart the computer. Install the newly downloaded drivers and see if that brings all the features back.
