Howdie, I have read where one could change the VIRTUAL MEMORY settins to 2 times the actuall amount, MIN and MAX. Is this a good thing to be playin with? It said when I tried it, that you shouldn't be changin these settings, it could do bad things to your system if it was wrong. Jus a lil in put?
#2 When a puter states that it is running in MS DOS compatability mode -or something to that effect- what and how do you reset that back to normal? It is windows ME on a Dell puter. The VIRTUAL MEMORY is also set up with their own memory settings. Do these go hand-in-hand together? Thanks, be rite back, REAL BAD STORM jus blew in on top of me. Bullfrog |

are you having any problems? Personally I prefer to let the computer decide as to the amount needed for a specific application.
Usually when the computer is running in dos compatiblity mode, it is for something that needs to run in dos. As far as virtual memory and dos compatibility mode, there is nothing different.
