Is there a security update for WinME?

I just read in the paper today about the new virus discovered yesterday and the security update available but when I went to Microsoft website, it did not list any. Could it be that there just isn't one for ME?

Perhaps you are referring to the security issue known as Download.Ject (http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/download_ject.mspx) . According to the "Frequently asked questions (FAQ) related to this security update" section of the Technet security bulletin (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms04-011.mspx):
Are Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, or Windows Millennium Edition critically affected by any of the vulnerabilities that are addressed in this security bulletin?
No. None of these vulnerabilities are critical in severity on Windows 98, on Windows 98 Second Edition, or on Windows Millennium Edition.
