I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I've recently come across a problem while trying to view videos on my computer and the more I mess around with it the worse i seem to make it.
Just recently I've become unable to view videos on my computer. Any videos I download and even videos I already had on my computer won't play. All the files say they are Windows Media Audio/Video files but windows media player won't play them. It says "Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown error". I have numerous media players and none of them will play these videos and I'm not sure if some sort of settings got messed up on my computer or what because I used to be able to watch these files on my computer but now they've stopped working. I've tried reinstalling windows media player but that doesn't work and i just can't think of anything else to do. Any help would be appreciated.
