Repetitive Restart

I have encountered a consistent symptom / problem, as follows:

1. After start the PC, the ME system restarts any time from about 15 seconds after starting to 5 minutes later. I do not do anything to initiate this 'restart', and this occurs ever time, i.e. I am in a loop.

The symptoms of the 'Sasser' virus are the same as this, but Microsoft tells me that Sasser does not infect ME.

try reinstalling Me by putting it in the cd rom drive and then boot from it. Format you hard drive. THis should work. if you have any really really really ridiculously important files on the computer, DO NOT reinstall Me.
