ie links opening prob

My links have developed a problem. I have my links set up as a folder within the links folder. (Links -> Fun Stuff) This way my links are sorted out.

Now when I select a link, it opens it in the first ie window that is open. It should open in the current ie window open.

Please assist me in correcting this problem.

When did this start happening?
Could you do a System Restore?

Goto Internet Options>Advanced>
Uncheck Reuse windows for launching shortcuts

your suggestion now opens my links in a separate window.

Is there anyway to get my links to open in the current window?

You say that you have your links sorted in a folder.

Is this a Windows Explorer folder?
If it is then it is doing the default thing.

Try this - open windows explorer, click on tools - folder options and select open in same window.
