Challenge...Excel Chart to Power Point

Hello,
This is what I need to do.
I need to copy chart from excel and put it into a Microsoft Power Point presentation. The file names will always be the same. The chart in excel will always be in the same location and called the same thing. Each chart will always be put onto the same page in the power point presentation. I am sure it must be possible, but I don't know how. Could you please provide me with a bit of code. Thanks

Lightbulb The challenge?!

OK Calculus87, this is how I did it.

Open Powerpoint choose blank presentation, choose the chart option for the presentation type (right at the bottom of the presentation options), double click where prompted to get the chart and the data table.

Open your excel chart, tile so you can see both PP & excel. Select & Copy data range from data table in excel, then in pp, edit>paste link into your pp data table and it will then give you the option to overwrite the rubbish already in there. You now have a live link from excel to your presentation. As you update excel, it automatically updates pp too.

I would imagine a few repeats of above should sort the other charts you require too. As for the fine tweaking & fine tuning ie chart type, formatting etc, that's up to you!!

That's enough for one night!! Good luck!

Cheers
