View Full Version : Modem Disconnects For Some Reason...

Well, I have a Lucent Winmodem. Connects at 41.2Kbps. I use it to play a game. It used to run very well, but now for some reason it just pauses and disconnects if I do not open an IE browser to get it back going. It is just weird. Does anyone know what is up with it? How can it be fixed? Thank you in advanced, Rocky aka eL EpiC.

Check in the Dial-Up propeties that it hans't got a Idle Timeout set.

It was already set to " never " anyother suggestions?

Did you upgrade the latest drivers and install them, from the description you gave i think this may have the required drivers http://www.modemsite.com/56k/ltwin77.asp if not search for the drivers of your exact modem or post a more detailed description of your modem.

Well, my modem is a Lucent Win Modem. And that is about all I know about it. :dizzy:
What other info do you need about it?
