since I have had lots of problems I have been getting help here. But most if not all the suggestions ask me to go to "run"...type in taskmgr....and delete some things that are running....but you cant do that in Me....how do you access those running processes like you can in windows 2000 or XP.....I know you can ctrl alt delete...to see whats running , but the tools there are so limited...and they dont show the file extensions....so you are hesitant to delete anything in there.......I have ran msconfig... and eneterd a window that shows me lots of things...but you cant delete int hat window....heck you cant even highlight things to copy to show someone else whats running there.........bob

Try Process Explorer.
You can view and kill processes

degsy...I am at work now...the subject computer is at home.....does that program you linked, DELETE the process...or just Stop or End it?......
I am assuming that these suggestions also suggest that there isnt a way to get into the task manager in Melinium, like you can in other OS!.....bob

There is no "Task Manager" as in NT/2000/XP in 9x/ME.
The usual method is CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
Process Explorer will Kill the process. This means that it will Stop it.
If you want to Delete it then you would have to delete the program or stop it from running.
Apart from MSCONIG, there are some other programs to help with Startup programs
