Unhappy Removeing linux

hoe do you remove mandrake linux from a computer im giving my sister my old comp but she dont like linux she likes windows so im wondering how do i get it off ive tried using diffrent types of bootdisks from win98 bootdisks to dr dos but the hard drive dosent show up in the command prompt ??? please help

well...try to format the hard drive. WARINING! Use caution when formatting. Formatting will erase all data on disk.

Howdy:

Boot the system using a Win98SE or WinME boot floppy.. When you get to a:> prompt, use the fdisk command and the "Remove all Non-DOS" partitions options.. Once that is done, set a new Primary DOS partition making sure you enable the entire hard-drive.. Once that is done, format the hdd and install Windows..
