Wordperfect 12 & Runtime errors

Hi everybody! I am a tech support professional and I would love some help with a recent issue that I've encountered. A user is using WordPerfect Office 12 (not my favorite suite of apps) and is running into an error when he tries to open Macros. After he goes to Tools-->Macros-->Play, he immediately gets the following error

"Microsoft Visual c++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\WordPerfect Office 12\Programs\ps120.exe
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information"

What could be causing this?

It could be a corrupt ps120.exe or other WordPerfect file, or it might be an issue with the version of Windows being used. If you haven't already done so, you might check WordPerfect's support site for this issue.
