Outlook Express

I cannot open outlook express at all. I downloaded the Internet Explorer 6 from the website but I still can't open outlook express. When I press the "mail" button on my keyboard, the following error comes:

Windows cannot find C:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe

I do not know what to do. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!

Have you checked the location to see if the program is there?
Have you ever had Outlook Express working before?

Hi!

Outlook express was working before. Like a a week ago. Then I re-installed Windows. I have Windows ME. I did a search on outlook express, and there is a folder for that. After I re-installed windows, it stopped working.

Have you updated to Internet Explorer 6 yet?
During the install you should be able to choose to install Outlook Express aswell.

Yea, i downloaded the IE 6 install file from the website. Then I chose to install all the components inclusing outlook express. But it still didnt work. I think it is missing msimn.exe file to run.

when i did a search of msimn.exe on my computer, nothing showed up.
