IE6 Syntax Error Doesn't work
A few days ago I started to have a problem with IE6. It basically stopped working. I could open it, but nothing would happen. My home page wouldn't load, and I couldn't browse any site at all. Also, any program that used Internet Explorer (Outlook Express, Help) didn't work either
I decided to install Windows XP SP1, (i emailed it from other comp) and I get an invalid syntax error everytime I start Internet Explorer. Also, some of my other programs are working now, but not all of them. This really bugs me because I just reformatted a month ago and I can't access Windows Update. I am using Netscape now, and I am happy with it, but I still want my IE working, becuase half of my other programs that use it doesn't work right now. Please reply soon! |

I had system restore turned off when this started happening, and besides, I probably wouldn't have created a restore point anyhow. Any other ideas?
