I'll try to make my question on this thread because I think its the closest to my problem.. I have a old pc, an 486 running windows 3.11. The question its simple: When It starts the windows its not loading anymore... I think it can be a HardDrive problem, but I want to be sure, so what version of boot disk I may use to try start the computer??
If anyone can help me I'll be very greatfull ... thanks!

[]''sA DOS boot disk is what you need. You can find one at www.bootdisk.com (http://www.bootdisk.com)
If you know what make of drive it is, the manufacturer usually provides their own diagnostic tool.
Do you have the DOS and Windows floppies to reinstall if need be?
