every time i finish dowloading a file a box appears saying "sorry you may not have perrmission to access this file etc" can anyone please help it was working fine and then it suddenly started doing this

Welcome :)
If it has only just started then see if you can do a System Restore.
Goto Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>
System Restore.
Choose to restore your PC to an earlier time.
See if there is a point to before the problems.
Otherwise, do a Virus Scan and Spyware scan
