hello,

When you click a hyperlink in an e-mail message or on a Web page, or right-click a hyperlink on a Web page and then click Open in New Window nothing happens, i went to the microsoft site and found this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=281679, and have done every thing except verifying these certain regristry keys, im not sure how to verify, and if i find they are not correct how to fix them. can any one help me? Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.

So you did this for the rest of the files listed aswell?


To Verify those Registry Entries goto
Start>Run> and type regedit

When in the program browse through to those paths.

Do not change anything in the Registry though.

Yes i did everything except the registry items. Nothing has helped so far and i dont know how to do the regristry.

Hi,

When you are in Regedit then use the right-hand pane to navigate through to the path.

Click on the + to open a level.

I am sure that i can not just waltz in there start changing stuff with out the proper in struction. Is there someone that can tell me how in detail

You don't need to change anything.

You just need to check that the values in Regedit and the Values on the Webpage are the same.

If they are then you can rule out that part of the solution.
