Unable to dial ISDN

Hi all!!!!!!!!

I've installed XP Pro several times, but I've been forced to go back to 98 because I'm unable to connect to my ISP. I have an Intracom Netmod modem (ISDN) which connects via my COM1. I have no problem dialing and keep on line in Windows 98. However, when I dial with XP, both channels (B1 and B2) get active, but after, say 30 seconds of the "Verifying user name and password" message, the connection goes down and I receive a "unable to connect" message. Is this a problem with my XP configuration or what else? I've tried changing everything that seemed to be affecting the process with no results. The ISP say they have hundreds of XP-netmod connections with no problems at all. Any Ideas???? thanks....

Hi and welcome to cybertech. I am going to move this to the Internet forum where maybe someone will know more about ISDN connections. Goodluck.
