Wauaclt

I keep getting Wauaclt run and I can't locate it by doing a search. When I do a ctrl,alt,del Ii shows it running and I can't close it. Does anybody know what Wauaclt is???:wave:

Do you mean Wauaclt or Wuauclt

Process File: wuauclt or wuauclt.exe
Process Name: AutoUpdate for WindowsME
Description: Background process responsible for updates to Windows ME. Whenever you connect to the Internet, Wuauclt checks the Microsoft web site for updates to Windows ME.

thanks! I thought it may be causing my computer to not shutdown at times and/or some programs not to respond.:(
