Network is busy, please wait.
I know next to nothing about networking so go easy on me guys.
![]() My husband has a small network (3 PC's), two running Win98 SE and most recently his server now runs WinXP Pro. He has always used the DOS version of a database proggie called Q & A (ex Symantec) and has considerable skills in this program. Since the dbase was loaded onto XP, most times when the users try to access Q & A, they get a Network busy message (when they try to access it from the server too). Extra info, Nokia ADSL router T66280 and a Auto-MDI/MDIX Switch (whatever that is) ![]() Thanks for any help.

It's probably not very likely that someone else will have this problem but I'll post the fix anyway. It was not a networking issue. The problem was caused by duplicated data in a Speedy Field in Q & A. Removing the dupes fixed the problem.
