Red face script line errors

Hi, I'm very connfussed. I keep getting a message box that says " error in script line 31 do you want to keep running on this line. Well someting to that. I wrote down how it looks
Line 31
Char 2
Error u
Code 0
URL File://C:Windows\odbc.hta
what does that mean? I get it almost everytime.
My next question is, I recieved this in my email
This is an auto responder email from Casinopalazzo.com.

It's about the virus problems you are having. Please, read it carefully
but don't reply.

We represent Casinopalazzo.com as a company and they wanted to let you know the following:

"Casino Palazzo is not responsible for infecting the players" computers with viruses.

We are against all kind of spam or any form of bringing traffic illegally. This is for sure due to Russian hackers among others, that got affiliated to our revenue program and that created a harmful tool to get more visits towards his sites. pass it on. We think that the problem comes because the trojan is now installed inside the dialer you were using when the pop-up appeared. If it's the case, we recommend you to remove that dialer to see if the pop-ups cease to appear. More about the removal of this popup: there are several tools cleaning computers from unpleasant pop-ups. try help forums, specially http://www.cybertechhelp.com. Several people have recommended visiting their site. or even this one regarding sexdial:http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,10408243~mode=flat
I'm very confussed, I don't want to do anything to mess up my puter anymore than it is. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Oh this is how I got to this site.
thank you very much,
lilfoxdee

Hi. Welcome to CTH.

It looks like you may have a virus or spyware problem. I would suggest downloading the latest update to your antivirus program and scanning for viruses. After doing that, I would download AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy and scanning for spyware. If you don't have an antivirus program, now would be a good time to get one. Meanwhile, you can get a free scan from http://housecall.trendmicro.com

AdAware is available from http://www.lavasoftusa.com

Spybot Search & Destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
