Well you don't have me. I don't get it.

This (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/) is what we are doing. Basically our computers are joined with millions around the globe helping to search for intelligent life in the cosmos. This (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/about_seti/about_seti_at_home_1.html) will explain it a little better.

The cybertechhelp team is always looking for new members!

soooooo......
you allow an unknown person use your computer, over the internet, when your not using it? this sounds like such a massive governmet conspiracy if there ever was one. tricking people into thinking that they are helping SETI but what they are actually doing is allowing th evil United States have access to all the computers in the world! or something like that. dont get me wrong, it sounds like a perfectly good idea for SETI to do something like that, its ingenius. but i just dont trust it...sorry

I done alot of research before joining and saw absolutely no evidence of this here or any comments about this in my search. However, if you have some sort of proof or link that seti is an evil conspiracy, lets see it or post it so we can be enlighten.

oh ok, i wasn't about to jump into something, plus this is not actually my computer. my parents use it too. and including the fact that i have 56k, i dont think even seti would benifit from it. its just that in the past, i have been scammed like that before, when i knew nothing of the internet, so i was skeptical. but since so many people use it, it must be ok.
